Hentick Konyak

Hentick Konyak is a young talented upcoming Hindi artist hailing from the small town of Naginimora in the Mon district of Nagaland. A teacher by profession at Mount View School, Suruhuto under Zunheboto district, Nagaland, Hentick started singing from an early age. During his early days he started performing in schools, churches, weddings and social events. Growing up in a Hindi speaking community of police personals helped him to sing and write Hindi songs. Hentick was one of the contestants representing Nagaland at the Northeast Highway Star Voice Hunt in 2011 where he finished as one of the finalist.

His debut Hindi single “Teri Yaadein” is about reminiscence of those who he had loved so dearly and recollections of the past memories.

His second song is a romantic Hindi single ‘Ilomi” with a touch of Sumi dialect and is dedicated to all the Naga women.. The song talks about the respect that Naga man have for their women.
