Technicolors

Genre: Alternative/ Pop-rock

Technicolors is a four piece alternative pop-rock band based in Kohima, Nagaland formed in the late summer of 2014. The band consists of Nguvito (Ato) on the vocals, Richard Kath on lead guitar and backing vocals, Meribemo on the bass guitar and Vivito Lohe on the drums.

Initially Vivito (drummer) and Richard Kath (lead guitarist) started with the plan to form a band and met Nguvito (vocalist) and Meribemo (bassist) in the process and eventually Technicolors was Born. Prior to forming the band all the member had worked in some local bands.

Technicolors presents an original blend of modern rock tempo that makes it an intimate relationship with a new age musical style. Their music featured with a scathing mix of blues music with a little tinge of off-tempo beats can be attributed to their influence of alternative rock on their music.

It is a chance for these well seasoned musicians to audition and perform at the Hornbill International Rock Contest 2014. Although Technicolors did not manage to win the contest, they were the only band from Nagaland selected to perform at the finals.

The band strongly believes that music has the power to connect beyond the mystic relams of the fourth dimensions.
