Tsali Stm, is a 23 yr old B.com graduate from St Joseph’s College, Jakhama. He fell in love with music with the acoustic guitar his father bought for him when he was very young. He still remembers the first thing he learned about music was the D major chord from his father. He started his first musical journey as a guitarist in a band, then shifted to drums and bass. He started writing his own music when he was in 12th standard, he was also the lead guitarist of the band ‘The Magic Bean’ finalist of ‘The Battle of the bands’ 2014.
Tsali was never too confident to be the front-man and play his own music. It was only because of the support and encouragement he received from his teachers and friends that he started singing in small functions. Since then, he never looked back and started heading towards living a musical life.
His first debut single ‘LOL’ has all his beautiful memories recorded melodiously. The song talks about a girl, whose snores reminds him of his grandpa’s scooter. The song ‘LOL’ is also a cute love song, which he would like to dedicate to all his mates, SNIC Campers, NCC cadets 2015.
Tsali Anar releasing his second single and making it his first local song in Sangtam dialect “INÜ NÜ MÜIRE” which means ‘I Love You’ and is specially dedicated to his Mom and Dad.
The song is made more acoustic for all general preferences, to enjoy the music if u get lost with the lyrics. It talks about his childhood days… “how I wish and cried for moon and stars, not knowing it is impossible to get. How mommy anxiously hold me, when I fall and hurt my knees, and daddy being my best friend when I had no friends to play with”.
He composed “INÜ NÜ MÜIRE” with a motive to promote local song in his dialect and to make it preferable by all ages.
