Muno Shiu

Muno Shiu is an aspiring artist from Dimapur, Nagaland. The younger of the two siblings, singing has always been his passion from an early age. He was actively involved performing in various shows and leading the worship team in the church to which he counts as his everlasting joy in serving the Lord.

Muno says he draws his inspirations from the bands such as “1975”, “Stryper”, “The Script” and Nagaland’s very own band “Incipit”.

The young passionate artist tries to experiment with a wide range of genres from pop, soft rock to indie rock and strongly believes that music can be a powerful medium to motivate and inspire the youths to live a meaningful life which is expressed in his debut single “Rise and Walk”.

The song, “Let Your Beauty Shine” feat. Sudu Rhax and Tweax is a mixture of EDM and rap. The song expresses the beauty of a girl as well reveals the way she is blessed. It also carried a message for the girls that says,“Let your beauty be a blessing to someone and let the gentle smile heal the world be humble and shine”.

Sudu Rhax is an upcoming rapper based in Dimapur currently doing his higher secondary studies at Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. He has earlier collaborated wit the band “Still Rhyming” and is also a former member of “The Spotlight” who were nominated for 8th Music Award of Nagaland in HipHop/Rap category.

Tweax (Meyu Longchar) is an EDM Producer from Mokokchung, Nagaland. He is also a member of Whoops! Here We Are. His first single ‘’Zero to Hero’’ was released through Cpytic Records (an upcoming Indian label). He aspires to make music which crosses genres and bring something fresh.

Muno was Indihut’s Most Promising Artist 2017 and was also ranked Top 5 in Alternative Music category on Songdew in 2017. He was also featured in Electic magazine in the column “NE Artistes to Look Out For in 2017”. After successfully releasing six originals he teamed up with Angeu to bring the song “Champion” Angeu is a music enthusiast who started singing from an early age. She was the finalist of Gospel Voice Hunt 2015 and also the winner of Naga Talents Promo 2016. Determined to chase her dreams to pursue music as her career.

Muno’s 8th single “Apa Atsüojin Nai Lüsong” is a song in Khiamniungan Naga dialect, recorded at Black & White Studio Dimapur, Nagaland and music arranged by Imdong Ajem. The title of the song is the theme of Khiamniungan Baptist Youth Endeavour, Dimapur and the song talks about the greatness of God’s love and his worthiness to be praised. The song also gives out the message to the youths to come seeking his presence and grow in His grace. The lyrics of the song was contributed by C. Tsongtsa Khmn.

Dirty Game is the ninth single recorded at Black & White Studio, Dimapur and music arranged by Imdong Ajem . The song speaks about broken dreams. The songs say “Be the change that you wish to see in the world, everyone needs change but no one takes the step and it also says shoes are shiny but the paths are not”
