Tensawati Lemtur is a Dimapur based singer and songwriter. He started spilling verses at the age of 13 yrs. He was inspired by artists such as MGK, Tinie Tempah and Futuristic and learning from them helped him in molding his flow.
His debut single ”Too young to make forever”, recorded at Prophet CSP studios (Cryptograpik Street Poets), Shillong. talks about a Guy and a Girl’s immature relationship, where both makes bogus promises not knowing what the future really holds. In a certain way which we all have come across this stage in our life.
Tensawati’s second single, “Through the Nights”, a tribute to his mother shows his sensitive side and he says it is the only song that he can do for her now.
His song “Straight Outta NAGA” is about the Naga culture and the unity we show to our brothers and sisters. It also talks about the racisms we face in our day-to-day life. But not to forget we are all warriors by birth and how we need to keep fighting over our bad days.
